Hanok fairytale
This was such a magical place to stay! We had a lovely Hanok house, when we arrived we got a free upgrade (very kind!) The hotel garden looks lovely and everything is very well maintained. Location is perfect and the hanok house was very clean. The owner is a very helpful sweet man. Hotel has also a footbath cafe in the beautiful garden, which we can reccommend. Would defenately stay in this hotel again!

The gentleman who checked me in was incredibly friendly, he provided me with suggestions and made me a complementary iced americano as he did so. The building itself was stunning and the gardens were well maintained by the same gent. The location is right in the middle of the traditional Hanok village.
When I stayed the spa and outdoor hot tub was closed

Traditional Korean accommodation in an excellent location...
Traditional Korean accommodation in an excellent location (walking distance to all the major sights). There were also many restaurants and shops close by. Having a parking place in the middle of the old district is a big plus. The staff was helpful. They gave us good recommendations for eating out. The place is clean and the garden is charming.
The bathroom is a bit small but we didn’t really mind.

Unpleasant
Room was clean
No hot water in the toilet, Toilet is cramp, no bath towel. Questionable security as there is no guest reception at night, main door is not locked as outsider can access to the premises. On the hanok room we stay, there were 4 entry points to access to the room but only 1 lock provide with number lock that can be easily figure out.
